We spent a lot of afternoons at Emily's cute apartment, but perhaps our favorite one was Tea Party day! The girlies donned wonderful, ruffly aprons and helped Emily whip up the most incredible buttery-delicious strawberry scones (of which I ate, literally, maybe 12? Possibly more...)
We talked about eating like ladies and brought out Emily's special teaset with roses on the cups, and even had rose-covered napkins.
Fruit, "tea" and scones completed our post-luncheon spread.
Our "tea" options were two yummy juices--a blueberry and a tangerine. Gracie sampled both, and preferred the blueberry "tea."
This is so cute! Would it be so weird of me to have a tea party with Simon? Probably. Maybe a truck party would be better. Hmm. Darn it.
ReplyDeleteThat was a fun day! Gracie was a pretty amazing sugar sprinkler. Tea Party Part II this December with Rachel & Adelaide too :) Miss you cute girls (and Charlie & Steve too)!
