TGS: Wedding Rings & Prayer

Though she and Everett get along swimmingly, Gracie recently divulged that she plans to marry his big brother, Carson.

A while back we told Gracie that our rings mean we are married to each other. Though she clearly doesn't get what that means, she was pretty stoked about it anyway. She decided she would marry me when she got a ring (I've now been usurped by neighbor Carson, who she told us she was going to marry during a lunchtime conversation on Sunday). Anyway all her enthusiasm prompted Steve to make her a ring out of a twist-tie several weeks ago. Apparently she remembers it fondly, because one day she came into the kitchen asking for her ring ("Me have my ring?").

Mommy: I don't know where it is.
Gracie: It's in the fridge.
Mommy: In the fridge?
Gracie: On the bread.

:)

Today's lunch prayer:

Dear Heh Faddu (Heavenly Father),
Sank you for Heh Faddu comes on the earth and eats one of my Cheerios. Strong and happy.
Deesu Bise (in the name of Jesus Christ), Ahhhh-men.
