Our Pumpkins

We decorated pumpkins for our FHE activity on Monday. Since (1) Gracie can't carve pumpkins and (2) we aren't very skilled carvers, we opted to decorate with markers instead. Gracie was really excited to color on her very own pumpkin, and Steve and I had a lot of fun, too.

Steve's pumpkin was space-themed. Half Yip Yip aliens from Sesame Street...

...and half Death Star.

Gracie's was very colorful. She eventually requested Sesame Street characters to draw on. Though she looks solemn here, I promise she had a good time. Except when we told her not to chew on the pumpkin stem. Seriously?

And mine was full Sesame Street (we seemed to be leaning towards the Street this year, huh?) featuring Big Bird as Batman...
