A Week in the Life: Sunday

Steve lets me sleep in, and it is blissful. When I wake up we swap--I play with Miss Gracie and Steve goes back to bed for an early morning nap. Does it sound like we sleep all the time? We just stay up too late watching shows or playing games. :)





When everybody's up we get ready for church--its early because of Stake Conference in the usual way: Steve and I get dressed, then he gets Gracie ready while I pack up her stuff: toys, bottle, etc. As we get ready Steve makes us toaster strudels for breakfast (a treat). Gracie does really well the whole 2 hours, and when we get home she gets a change, bottle, and a nap. She's started giving kisses this week. :)





While she naps, we change from church clothes into PJs and play Sorry (xBox version) on the couch and drink hot cocoa from the mugs we bought just before we got married. :) Then we play the pinata game until Gracie wakes up.





 

We all hang out, chill, and play. I mess around with iPhoto, Steve plays some xBox, and Gracie plays with books or toys, all just having a mellow afternoon. Around 4 we have our weekly Skype with Mom & Dad so they can see Gracie. It's pretty cute how hyper she gets when she's on a video chat with her grandparents. She has a non-nap chill out time around 5 because sometimes she needs personal time to be cheery.

When she gets up again we all have dinner of tortellini and Caesar salad--Gracie is a fan. Then we head over to the Pearsons' where the little girls squeal and play, and we play Wii fit and talk. The girls go to bed and the grown ups hang out until midnight. Gracie is so cute when we get her up to go home--she can't decide if she is happy or sad. We take her home and put her happily in her own bed, then have cookies and watch an episode of the Office before we finally go to bed. :)
