Before the Pearsons moved, we spent at least one night every weekend playing games at their house, their kids in bed and ours sleeping upstairs. When they left, we all mourned the loss of those casual game nights, hanging out, chatting, and eating dessert.
But we're super geeky.
So we figured out how to play--face to face--2,000 miles apart.
We could have played online, but we decided real boards would be more fun. So we set up identical boards and faced our laptop webcams at them.
And set up our Kinect cameras facing each other...
And had a blast.
...the only problem was that we couldn't pass desserts through the TV.
LOVE THIS!!!
ReplyDeleteSo geeky! But I totally understand. Settler's is quite addictive.
ReplyDeleteWe used to hang out with a family in the ward when Elena was little too. We'd put her to sleep in their pack n play in their basement and wake her up to take her home later. :)
